Image hosting
Also known as product image hosting. Category: Software
Image hosting is the storage of images on a server that delivers them to websites and apps on request. Product image hosting adds features such as resizing for each device, compression and embeddable viewers.
How PhotoRobot uses it
PhotoRobot hosting runs on a Google Cloud Platform image CDN with real-time scaling: every image is scaled to the resolution of the end-user device, and JPEG, PNG and WebP are supported. JPEG compression is configurable in real time, so no duplicate files are needed. Hosting is billed by storage, with unlimited views and data transfer.
